Jamshedpur, September 26: Employees of Tata Steel’s subsidiary Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited (TSDPL) will get 20 percent bonus this year also.
Employees will get maximum Rs 1,11,806 and minimum Rs 68,491. An amount of Rs 3.81 crore will be given as bonus.
The bonus amount will be sent to the bank accounts of the employees by 30th September. Last year, an amount of Rs 3.39 crore was given as bonus, this year Rs 3.81 crore is being given as bonus.
A total of 502 employees will be given bonus. The agreement was signed between the management and TSPDL employees union on Monday at the company’s Bara plant.
Last year also there was a 20 percent bonus. In the talks, in the interest of the employees and their families, the management, with the help of the bank, agreed to provide a mediclaim of Rs 15 lakh and an accidental policy of up to Rs 23 lakh if the employees pay an amount of Rs 2000. Also, in the coming days, there are chances of a consensus being reached on term insurance policy after talks.
