Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited (TSDPL) employees will receive their annual bonus ahead of Durga Puja, following an agreement between the management and the union. The bonus ranges from Rs 44,000 to Rs 96,000 for the old series, while the new series employees will receive Rs 30,500. A total of 643 employees will benefit from the payout.
The agreement was signed in the Bara auditorium by MD Jagjit Singh, CHRO Karan Lakhani, GM Ashwani Kumar, Chief – Human Resource Business Partner Sanjoy Majumder, Divisional Manager HR Priyanka Pandey, and Divisional Manager HR Punyaslok Guru. On behalf of the union, President Rakeshwar Pandey, General Secretary Tridev Singh, Vice President Sachchidanand, and other office bearers were present.
Under the original bonus formula, the kitty amount was Rs 3.34 crore. After a series of meetings and discussions with the union, the management increased the kitty by Rs 45 lakh. The total bonus of Rs 3.79 crore will now be distributed among the employees.
Union President Rakeshwar Pandey congratulated the employees on the festival of Durga Puja and encouraged them to spend their earnings wisely and invest in their children’s future.
MD Jagjit Singh also extended his greetings and urged employees to cooperate for the company’s continued growth, stating that the company’s success is possible only through the strength and dedication of its workforce.
The bonus amount is scheduled to be credited to employee accounts by Monday, September 22, 2025, allowing staff to celebrate the festive season with financial relief and morale boosted by this timely recognition of their efforts.
