Tata Steel commences Quality Month 2023 with the Theme ‘Towards Gemba Focused Excellence’

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel has launched its Quality Month celebration for November under the theme ‘Towards Gemba Focused Excellence.

The initiative officially began with an online event featuring the company’s CEO and Managing Director. Quality Month will encompass a series of activities throughout the month, including employee engagement campaigns aligned with the theme. These activities will consist of suggestion drives to enhance the work environment, quizzes, competitions, interactive sessions with customers and vendor partners, and training programs for employees, among other events.

November is globally recognized as Quality Month, and Tata Steel observes this month to instill a culture of continuous quality improvement among its employees. The theme for this year’s Quality Month, ‘Gemba,’ emphasizes the practice of identifying challenges and opportunities for enhancement by focusing on the actual location where processes and activities occur.
