Tata Steel announces recruitment for Junior Engineer

Jamshedpur, May 8: Tata Steel’s Kalinganagar plant has announced recruitment for the position of junior engineer. The recruitment drive aims to fill positions permanently, with preference given to candidates holding a three-year full-time diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized institute.

Additionally, candidates with degrees in Electronics or Mechatronics from RD Tata Technical Education Centre, Tata Steel Technical Institute Burmamines, and JN Tata Technical Center will receive preferential treatment. Applicants should also possess a minimum of three years of work experience in the relevant field.

Eligibility criteria stipulate that general candidates must have obtained at least 55 percent marks in engineering, while SC and ST candidates should have secured a minimum of 50 percent marks. Applicants must be born between May 1, 1984, and May 1, 2006, to qualify for the position.

Selected candidates will be placed in permanent D1 grade roles at Tata Steel Kalinganagar, with a monthly salary of Rs 17,530 and an annual CTC of 5.6 lakhs. The recruitment process will include a written examination and interview, following which successful candidates will be offered reinstatement.
