Tata Power team visits School of Hope as part of Volunteering Week

Jamshedpur, March 7: A team of senior officials from Tata Power led by D S Kudalkar, Plant Head, Barun Kumar. Chief of CSR, Sujit Sen Gupta and Rajesh Sinha of Business Excellence along with officers and staff from cross section of departments today made a visit to School of Hope and interacted with the special children and their parents. They were taken around by Shymala Raju, Principal, Anil Oraon, Secretary and Rajnish Kumar, Senior Manager Societies and member of the Managing Committee of School of Hope.

The team visited as part of ongoing Tata Volunteering Week where employees are encouraged to take up volunteerism with a message to Stand Up, Stand Out, Stand Together and finally Be the change.

It was first visit by any Tata Power officials to School of Hope and they were all praise for the efforts being made up the school management to bring smile in the face of these special children and their families. They on the spot collected money and donated handsomely to the school and showed keen interest in buying the products made by them and also help in their marketing in their organisation and elsewhere.
