Tata Motors Workers Union meeting focuses on bonus and education initiatives

Jamshedpur, August 17: A committee meeting at the Tata Motors Workers Union (TMWU) office commenced at 11:00 am, with a primary focus on bonus issues alongside other daily concerns. Union President Gurmeet Singh chaired the meeting, while General Secretary R.K. Singh urged members to primarily discuss the bonus. He commended the union members for their excellent participation in recent Rudrabhishek and Bol Bam programs, noting their dedication and success in collaborative efforts.

During the meeting, members shared their views on the bonus and expressed hope that the President and General Secretary would secure the best possible outcome. Many also congratulated the Union for recent agreements in the field of education. The newly introduced schemes, Utkarsh and Vidyavan, are anticipated to greatly benefit employees’ children.

President Gurmeet Singh assured members of the Union’s commitment to timely bonus distribution, reflecting on past successes achieved with members’ support. General Secretary R.K. Singh promised to address the raised issues at the shop floor level and expedite discussions with the company regarding the bonus to ensure timely delivery.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from BK Sharma and was conducted by Prakash Vishwakarma.
