Tata Motors’ Workers Union leaders honored in welcome ceremony

Jamshedpur, Aug 30: A grand welcome was organized on Saturday at Tata Motors’ Foundry Division and Union Office to honor Union President Shashi Bhushan Prasad and General Secretary RK Singh. The event, hosted by the RK Singh Fans Club, was attended by division officials, union members, and employees who recently completed their TMST and apprenticeship, now included in the list of permanent workers.

At the Foundry Division, the ceremony was conducted by Saket Bhattacharya, with a vote of thanks delivered by Ranvijay Singh. Foundry Division Head Dr. Padan Singh and other senior officials felicitated the leaders with shawls, garlands, and bouquets.

Later at the Union Office, the RK Singh Fans Club organized a program where members, employees, and well-wishers extended their appreciation. Addressing the gathering, RK Singh emphasized that the union was like a family, urging members to stand by workers in times of need, happiness, or crisis. He reminded them to uphold the union’s values and maintain its reputation. Singh also congratulated newly permanent workers and thanked the Fans Club for its dedicated efforts.

Union President Shashi Bhushan Prasad echoed his sentiments, stating that RK Singh’s leadership spoke for itself. He encouraged members to share constructive suggestions to strengthen the union’s standing before management.

The event featured welcome addresses by Ajay Singh Babbu, General Secretary of the Fans Club, with proceedings conducted by Ashok Singh and a vote of thanks given by Jaswant Singh. The atmosphere remained festive, reaffirming trust in the leadership of RK Singh and the unity of the union.
