Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Limited Employees Union: Scrutiny of nominations today, polling on September 4

Jamshedpur, August 31: The executive meeting of Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Limited (TSPDL) Employees Union was held under the chairmanship of Union President Rakeshwar Pandey, where the schedule for the upcoming union elections was formally announced. The process of filing and submitting nomination papers has begun, with several candidates entering the fray from different constituencies.

In Constituency No. 1, Suraj Kumar Singh, Ajay Kumar Singh, Banshidhar Singh, Upendra Rai, Arun Kumar Tripathi, and R. Ravi filed nominations. Constituency No. 2 saw nominations from Ramesh Chaudhary, Santosh Kumar Mukhi, Chandra Bhushan Sharma, Krishna Padanto, and Sanjeev Kumar Singh. In Constituency No. 3, Dayanand Singh and Pramod Upadhyay filed papers.

For Constituency No. 4, nominations were received from Sanjay Kumar Dubey, Pawan Kumar Singh, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Rajeshwar Yadav, Tridev Singh, and Manoj Kumar Singh. In Constituency No. 5, candidates include Balwant Pandey, Santosh Kumar, and Aman Ji. Constituency No. 6 saw nominations from Sunil Kumar Dubey, Sachchidanandan Sinha, and Rakesh Kumar.

In Constituency No. 7, Anish Kumar Jha, Ranjan Mishra, Chitranjan Prasad Bharti, and Rupesh Kumar Singh filed nominations. Constituency No. 8 has Dinesh Kumar as the candidate, while Constituency No. 9 saw nominations from Abhishek Kumar Mishra, Rajesh Kumar, Soumin Vishwas, and Amarnath Kumar.

As per the schedule, election-related information and area-wise voter lists were published on August 30 at 1:00 pm. Nomination forms were issued on August 31 between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, with submission from 3:05 pm to 4:00 pm. On September 1, forms can be taken from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and submissions accepted between 12:05 pm and 2:00 pm. Scrutiny of papers will be completed the same day by 2:30 pm, while withdrawal of nominations is allowed from 3:05 pm to 4:00 pm. The final list and sample ballot paper will be published on September 2, followed by polling on September 4 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The responsibility of Election Officer has been given to Vinod Kumar Rai, Vice President of Jharkhand INTUC. Co-Election Officers include Parvinder Singh Sohal, Anjani Kumar, and Sanjay Kumar Singh. Observers for the process will be Dadan Singh and Sai Babu Raju.
