Jamshedpur, Feb 25: Tata Motors Workers Union will be celebrating Founder’s Day (on March 3) as ‘Prakash Parv’. The decision was taken at a meeting convened on Saturday. The union general secretary RK Singh said the occasion would be celebrated as Deepawali. “We will light diyas at various parks and roundabouts across the city in the evening on 3rd March and pay tribute to JN Tata,” he said.
Union president Gurmeet Singh said this year’s Foundation Day celebration would be bigger as compared to last year.
Meanwhile, the union functionaries welcomed and congratulated Gurmeet Singh and RK Singh for being made national working committee members of Intuc. All office-bearers and committee members were present at the meeting.
