Jamshedpur, April 18: The executive meeting of the Tata Motors Workers Union (TMWU) was held on Friday at the union’s auditorium, as per the scheduled program. This was the first meeting following the official registration of the union’s executive in Register B by the Labour Department.
Key issues were discussed during the meeting, including the decision to conduct elections for a vacant committee seat in the Foundry Division through a constitutional process. A dedicated committee was formed to oversee the election.

It was also emphasized that the next president of the union would be selected unanimously from within the executive. All members expressed their confidence in General Secretary R.K. Singh’s leadership and pledged to support future union activities under the guidance of the union’s advisor, Praveen Singh.
Advisor Praveen Singh addressed the gathering, highlighting the union’s growing unity and the significance of the executive’s registration. HS Saini praised RK Singh as a unifying force, stating that no one questioned his leadership. His statement received unanimous applause from all present.
The meeting was chaired by Executive President Anil Sharma, conducted by Prakash Vishwakarma, and concluded with a vote of thanks from Shivnarayan Singh.
