Jamshedpur: A major step has been taken to strengthen the infrastructure in Potka block. After receiving approval for the strengthening of nine dilapidated roads at a cost of Rs 12.95 crore, local MLA Sanjib Sardar performed the Bhoomi Pujan and formally commenced the construction work.
On the occasion, MLA Sardar stated that ensuring smooth and quality road connectivity for the people of Potka Assembly is his top priority. He mentioned that he had personally recommended the reconstruction of these roads to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who not only approved the proposal but also conducted the online foundation laying ceremony.
MLA Sardar shared that a total of 250 roads will be renovated in 12 phases over the next two years. He assured the public that development work will be executed at a rapid pace. Most of these roads have been in a dilapidated condition for nearly a decade, and their renovation was taken up in response to persistent demands from villagers. He further emphasized that he is committed to living up to the trust of the people and is determined to lead Potka on the path of progress.
The Roads to be Renovated Include: Digarasai (Old Amda) to RWD Road, Hensel Amda Tola Chowk (from Shivnath Yadav’s house) to Bargikocha, Dewli Chowk to Digarasai (via Amda), Jamda to Kantashola Main Road (via Mahalisai), Kantashola Main Road to Narayanpur (via Phooljhari) ,Mejogoda to Phooljhari, Harina to Bhagabeda village, Bhalki to Harina Main Road (Talasai),Upardiha Chandni Chowk to Janmdih Chowk.
The event was attended by former councillor Hiramani Murmu, Rajni Shadangi, Bablu Choudhary, Mukhiya Saraswati Murmu, Ardhendu Sardar, Kalipad Sardar, Aseem Sardar, Jima Sardar, Panchayat Samiti member Raghunath Sardar, former Mukhiya Pratima Sardar, village head Muchiram Murmu, Narendra Sardar, Soda Sardar, Sudhir Soren, Bhuvaneshwar Sardar, Hitesh Bhakt, Manoranjan Sardar, Sunil Sardar, Bimal Das, Bapi Bhattmishra, Shalkhu Soren, Nishapati Sardar, Manik Sardar, Lakhinder Sardar, along with hundreds of villagers.
