Jamshedpur, April 6: Tata Motors commenced the new financial year on a traditional note, with ceremonial prayers and rituals held across its key divisions on Monday, symbolising an auspicious start to operations.
The observances began at the Engine Division and were subsequently conducted at the Power Supply World Truck unit, Foundry Division, Plant One Assembly Lines 1 and 2, EV Fitment Line 4, and the Final Vehicle Preparation section. The rituals were performed in accordance with established customs, reflecting the company’s longstanding cultural ethos.
Senior representatives of the Tata Motors Workers Union, including General Secretary R.K. Singh, along with union office-bearers, committee members, and members of the R.K. Singh Fans Club, participated in the ceremonies. Several senior officials from the management also attended the prayer and havan proceedings.

Among those present were Finance Head Satish Kadam, ER Head Soumik Roy, GM Manish Verma, and other senior functionaries including Ghulam Mandal, Prakash Sinha, Rakesh Kumar, M.S.V.N. Bhanu, Kumar Satyam, Silva Raj, and Sudhanshu Das.
Extending his greetings on the occasion, R.K. Singh urged employees to prioritise safety and quality while working towards new targets in the financial year. He emphasised the importance of teamwork and adherence to high operational standards to enable the company to achieve new milestones and set fresh benchmarks.
