Jamshedpur, June 9: A scooty-borne woman was injured in a road accident near Dhatkidih Garage under Bistupur police station area on Thursday. She was taken to MGM Hospital where her condition was reportedly serious.
Sources said the victim, identified as Anita Devi, was returning home from Sakchi via Dhatkidih after shopping. Just then, a speeding car knocked her down, causing her to fall on the road with her vehicle. The car driver fled the scene towards Sonari after the incident, sources said.
