Jamshedpur, Sep 2: Tata Motors has invited applications from Matriculate candidates for full-time apprentice job. Those having passed class X in 2022 can apply. For general and OBC candidates, minimum percentage in class X is 70 per cent while for SC and ST candidates, the minimum percentage is 60 per cent. For all categories, the minimum marks in maths and science should not be less than 70 per cent.
According to notification, the age of candidates should be between 16 and 18 years on 1st September. SC and ST candidates would get exemption for two years. Selected candidates would get training for two years in mechanical, auto, electrical and electronics, mechanic motor vehicle or mechatronics. During training, the candidates would get Rs 8000 per month in first year and Rs 9000 per month in second year. They will have to pass medical test for selection. Candidates can apply on www.joinus.tatamotors.com/apprenticeship before 7th September.
