Tata Education Excellence Programme organises good practice sharing session for Hindi medium schools in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 6: A Good Practice Sharing Session, the third of its kind, was organised by the Tata Education Excellence Programme (TEEP), Tata Steel for the Hindi Medium Schools which are part of TEEP’s BASIC /SARAL Programmes at Management Training Centre, Tata Motors.

After a gap of two years, Principals and Teachers from the Hindi Medium schools got together and shared good practices on the challenges faced by them during the pandemic and how they were addressed. 8 schools (under Shiksha Prasar Kendra, Tata Motors, TCIL Community Schools and Kerala Public Project schools) participated in this event.

Chanakya Chaudhary, Chairperson, TEEP Executive Committee and Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel graced the occasion along with TEEP Executive Committee Member and Plant Head, Tata Motors Jamshedpur, Vishal Badshah. TEEP Executive Committee Member and Chief TQM & CQA, Tata Steel, Dr. Pankaj Kumar and Deepak Kumar, General Manager, ER and CSR, Tata Motors were also present on this occasion.

Two experts, Head CSR, ISWPL, Awtar Singh and Senior Manager, Procurement & Diversity Officer ISWPL, Manprit Shrivastava were invited to holistically evaluate and appreciate the efforts of the participating schools.

After felicitating the teams with certificates and hampers, Chanakya Choudhary acknowledged the tremendous constraints faced by the Education sector in the face of complete uncertainty during lockdown. He appreciated the efforts of the schools in ensuring continuity of teaching-learning.  He added that while normalcy was returning and schools and education were slowly returning to normal and grappling with loss of learning in students, the various initiatives of TEEP would once again help accelerate their journey to Excellence.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Leader, TEEP Steering Committee (BASIC/SARAL PROGRAMME) and Principal of Vidyasagar Uchcha Vidyalaya Bamangora, Pratibha Verma.
