Tamanna tops IA exam, makes CKP proud

Jamshedpur, June 10: Tamanna Mahato of Chakradharpur has made her parents and the town proud by securing first position in Jharkhand in the Intermediate Arts (IA) examinations, results of which were announced by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Thursday.

It is said that a person’s first school is his home and the home environment provides students with power to perform well in studies. Tamanna scored 397 out of 500 to top the state.

Her school Ursuline Intermediate College, Ranchi, as well as her father Ganeshwar Mahato and mother Urmila Mahato are certainly proud of Tamanna.

Tamanna’s father is retired personnel while her mother is a teacher at primary school. Binod Bhagoria, chief of Bhagoria Foundation, congratulated Tamanna for making Chakradharpur and West Singhbhum proud.  

He added that the foundation has been encouraging the students and will continue to do so in the future.
