Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today observed that India is a pious nation. He was speaking during the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Hanuman temple in the state capital.
“Religion gives us strength and intelligence. I pray to God to give us strength so that we can serve the poor and eliminate unemployment and poverty from the state. The people of the state are divine to me and I am their humble servant,’ said Das.
The CM said that unity in diversity was a special feature of the state’s culture. “Though the way of worship may vary but the goal is the same. Power should be used to comfort the people of the state.
Serving people and all living being has been a way of our life from time immemorial. Roads, drinking water and dharamshala are made with a view to help the people. Khijri MLA Ram Kumar Pahan was present on this occasion along with people in big number,” he said.
