Tailik Sahu Mahasabha intensifies membership drive

Jamshedpur: The Akhil Bharatiya Tailik Sahu Mahasabha (ABTSM) is gearing up for elections in February. As such, the district unit has intensified its membership drive.

Candidates for ABTSM district unit office bearers Rakesh Sahu (president), Ranjit Gupta (general secretary) and Bhola Prasad (treasurer) along with other members and supporters went around Golmuri, Tuiladungri, Sidgora, Mango, Shankosai, Ramnagar, Kadma, Shastrinagar and Sonari and enrolled new members. The first member to be enrolled today was BJP district president Dinesh Kumar.

Rakesh Sahu said that the membership drive would continue till 31st January. The main purpose of ABTSM was to strengthen the social, political and economic roots of the community he added.

In the course of the membership drive, Sahu urged the community members to enroll en masse so that the elections are held on a large scale. �This will ensure a strong community of ours,� he observed.
