Jamshedpur, July 21: Tagore Academy held its Prize Night at Rabindra Bhawan auditorium on Saturday evening. Chief Guest for the occasion was NML Jamshedpur director Dr Indranil Chattoraj. The event began with a traditional way where Dr. Himanshu Shekhar Pal, President of Tagore Society gave the welcome address. School Principal Madhuchhanda Majumdar presented the annual report.
Student Sejal Chandra bagged the all rounder award. Sayantan Das was adjudged the Best student while Surpreet Singh won the Best Sportsman award. ICSE 2017 topper Sejal Chandra was also awarded along with ISC 2017 toppers Gourav Kumar, Sakshi Kumari and Soumyajeet Chakarborty.
Dr Indranil said that for becoming a good student one has to a lot of hard work and one cannot succeed without that extra push. Hard work along with diligence can bore fruits. General Secretary of the society, Ashish Choudhary extended the vote of thanks. Sanhita Lahiri played a vital role in making the programme a success.
