Jamshedpur, July 12: Tagore Academy, run by the Tagore Society, Jamshedpur, celebrated Nursery Day. A total of 90 students from the nursery class participated in the event, showcasing their talents through poem recitations—including solo, duet, and group performances—and a vibrant dance presentation. Sharing details about the celebration, Ashis Chowdhury, General Secretary of the Tagore Society, said that the program aimed to give young learners a platform to express themselves at the very first stage of their educational journey. “Education should liberate us, and at the foundation level, children must be given the freedom to fill their own colors on the canvas of learning,” he remarked.
Principal Madhuchhanda Majumdar graced the event, and the nursery teachers played a vital role in guiding and directing the performances, making the day a memorable occasion for both students and parents.
