Syed Kirmani, Ashok Dhyan Chand visit Aurous restaurant in Jamshedpur

Legendary sportspersons praise cuisine and progress of Indian sports

Jamshedpur: A special moment was witnessed at the popular Aurous Restaurant near Ram Mandir in Bistupur when former Indian cricket legend Syed Kirmani and a former captain of the Indian men’s hockey team Ashok Dhyan Chand paid a visit. Their presence created excitement among sports enthusiasts and diners at the restaurant.

Praise for Jamshedpur’s Cuisine

Both former players highly appreciated the quality and taste of the food served at Aurous Restaurant. Syed Kirmani said it was a pleasant experience to enjoy such excellent cuisine in Jamshedpur. He remarked that discovering good food in different parts of the country adds to the joy of travel and sports engagements.

Sharing his thoughts on the growth of Indian sports, Kirmani said India is progressing rapidly in various fields. He highlighted the achievements of Indian women’s cricket and described their recent international successes as a matter of great pride for the nation.

The former Indian hockey captain Dhyan Chand also reflected on the remarkable improvement in Indian hockey compared to his playing days. He noted that sports infrastructure across the country has strengthened and players are now receiving better training facilities and opportunities, which is contributing to improved performance at national and international levels.

The visit generated enthusiasm among sports lovers present at the restaurant, many of whom interacted with the legendary players. On the occasion, Aurous  Restaurant owners Prajwal Sahu and Abhinav Sahu were present along with national-level athlete Gyan Singh and Shyam Kumar Sharma, Secretary of the Master Athletic Association of East Singhbhum.
