Swachhata Ke Nanhe Doot: A short film with a strong message

Jamshedpur: In a bid to spread message on cleanliness, the district public relations office has made a short film titled �Swachhata Ke Nanhe Doot� following the guidance of the deputy commissioner Amit Kumar.

The film, based on imagination, has been shot in the rural parts of Patamda block. It depicts a six year-old girl who decides to get a toilet constructed for an elderly woman living in her neighbourhood after watching her going in the open to answer nature�s call.

The DPRO Sanjay Kumar said the film gives a message to the viewers about the government schemes being run to free villages from open defecation.

The film actors include the Patamda block development officer Sachidanand Mahato and Ananya Pandey, daughter of the DPRO, and several villagers.

The film has been directed by Shiv Kumar Prasad and shot by cameraman Arju Baksh.
