Jamshedpur, Dec 8: A City level singing competition ‘Sur Samar’ was organized by Sangeet Samaj, Telco at its Auditorium on Monday.
The event was inaugurated by AB Lal, Plant head, Tata Motors along with the chairman of the organization Pramod Kumar. The competi- tion was held under two rounds.
During the first round students from various educational institutes of the city auditioned and the selected participants will be allowed to participate in Grand Finale of the event.
The competition was held under three categories Junior, Senior and Super Senior. A large crowd was present at the auditorium and at every performance the audience gave a round of applause.
Top three from each category were felicitated. To make the event successful Vice-Chairman Deepak Kumar, Secretary Gopal Mishra, Treasurer Prashant Das Gupta, Vice-principal Shashi Prasad, Administration Nirupma Choudhary played their vital role.
