Jamshedpur, May 3: Kerala Samajam Model School, Golmuri, conducted a Rescue Operation Training Program for its support staff to strengthen emergency preparedness and ensure the safety of students and staff on campus.
Organized by the school’s Safe Club, the training took place on May 3, 2025, and was designed for sub staff including peons, drivers, cleaners, and security personnel. Experts from Tata Steel’s safety and disaster management team led the session, offering practical demonstrations and hands-on training.

Key areas covered included basic first aid, evacuation procedures, crowd control during emergencies, and safe rescue techniques. A highlight of the program was a live mock drill where all participants actively demonstrated their newly learned skills.
