Jamshedpur: Gulmohur High School successfully concluded its much-anticipated three-day Summer Fun Blast 2026, transforming its campus into a vibrant arena of creativity, experiential learning, sustainability, and student leadership.

Designed to blend joyful education with real-world skill development, the camp offered students an immersive experience that combined innovation, self-expression, and competency-based learning in an engaging environment.

The event commenced on an enthusiastic note with an inaugural ceremony hosted by Chandni, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Principal Priti Sinha, symbolising the beginning of a meaningful journey of exploration and growth. The opening day also featured energetic aerobics sessions that encouraged physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork among participants.

A major highlight of Summer Fun Blast 2026 was the introduction of twelve thoughtfully curated skill camps aimed at fostering practical knowledge and holistic development. Programmes such as Groove Galaxy – Dance Camp, Rhythm Riot Lab – Music Camp, Voice Vault – Public Speaking, Jugaad Coder Camp, Sparkle Studio – Jewellery Designing, Thread & Trend Hub – Stitching and Crochet, Glam Lab – Beauty & Hairstyling, Flame Free Feast – Fireless Cooking, and Brain Blitz Battle – Quizzing provided students with valuable hands-on learning experiences.

Beyond creativity, the camps focused on equipping students with essential life and vocational skills. Activities like cooking, coding, stitching, and jewellery making encouraged practical problem-solving, while public speaking, quizzing, and ramp walk sessions helped students build confidence, communication skills, and stage presence. Dance and music sessions further nurtured emotional intelligence, collaboration, and self-expression.

The second day added an element of excitement with an engaging Treasure Hunt, conducted in an innovative and eco-conscious digital format. The paperless competition, supported by digital submission tracking and evaluation, significantly reduced paper wastage while promoting teamwork, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.
The camp culminated in a spectacular Grand Finale themed “A Parent’s Love,” celebrating talent, family bonding, and student achievement. The evening began with a heartfelt welcome address and an inspiring Gulmohur Journey Video, followed by an electrifying performance by the school band , leaving the audience captivated.

Students then took centre stage with impressive presentations in music, dance, public speaking, fitness showcases, and ramp walk performances—reflecting the confidence and skills they had developed over the three-day programme.

One of the most admired moments of the evening was the special “Aaj Ki Nari” Ramp Walk, featuring mothers and celebrating the strength, grace, and confidence of modern women.
The segment beautifully echoed the camp’s central message of parental love and support, creating cherished memories for participating families.

Off-stage exhibitions held in the school library also drew widespread appreciation, as students proudly showcased their creations in Fireless Cooking, Jewellery Designing, Crochet Work, Art & Craft, and Coding, demonstrating both creativity and practical competence.

A defining feature of Summer Fun Blast 2026 was its strong emphasis on sustainability. By incorporating 100 percent recycled and eco-friendly materials across activities and event décor, the school reinforced the importance of environmental responsibility and inspired students to adopt mindful, sustainable practices.
