BJP announces major changes in district leadership in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jan 29: On Monday, the state BJP witnessed a significant reshuffling in district presidents and in-charges, orchestrated by State President Babulal Marandi. State General Secretary and MP Aditya Sahu issued a press statement, disclosing the appointment of 27 district presidents across areas such as Ranchi (rural, metropolitan), Dhanbad (rural, metropolitan), and Jamshedpur (Mahanagar). Concurrently, 27 district in-charges were also appointed. Key appointments include Varun Sahu as the president of Ranchi Mahanagar, Surendra Mahato as the president of Ranchi Rural, Louis Marandi as the district in-charge of Godda, and Jitu Charan Ram as the district in-charge of Jamshedpur Mahanagar.

The outgoing district presidents will retain their positions as members of the State Working Committee.

Various districts have undergone changes, with Sudhanshu Ojha appointed as the Jamshedpur Mahanagar President, and Dr. Jeetu Charan Ram as the In-charge. Chandi Charan Sao is designated as the East Singhbhum (Rural) District President, along with Badkunwar Gagrai as the District In-charge. Sanju Pandey has been appointed as the West Singhbhum District President, with Manoj Kumar Mahto as the District In-charge. Uday Singhdeo takes on the role of Seraikela-Kharsawan District President, with Subodh Kumar Singh ‘Guddu’ as the District In-charge.

Pramod Mishra, the media in-charge of Baridih Mandal BJP, extended congratulations and best wishes to Sudhanshu Ojha, the newly appointed District President of BJP in Jamshedpur Mahanagar. He expressed happiness over the decision to appoint an experienced worker like Ojha, stating that this move would enhance the understanding of workers’ sentiments and contribute to strengthening the organization. Mishra confidently asserted that under Ojha’s leadership, Jamshedpur Mahanagar would secure victories on all seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections.
