Jamshedpur: The residents of Subhash Ashram situated in Devnagar of New Baradwari, Sakchi, today put up an agitation before the office of the senior superintendent of police against mushrooming of illicit liquor dens in the area.
They alleged that one Hari Mahato and his brother Sibu Mahato, both residents of the ashram, were involved in the illicit liquor business.
They also alleged that the two had sexually assaulted many women after sneaking into their houses. A memorandum was handed over to the SSP in this connection.
