State Minority Commission VP inspects Kharsawan school

Seraikela: The vice president of Jharkhand State Minority Commission Ashok Sarangi here on Monday paid a surprise visit to the Government Plus Two High School, Kharsawan. He took the school headmaster and head clerk to task over their alleged failure to tell the exact number of students admitted in the school. He inspected the school laboratory, library, class room and hostel and directed the officials to improve their functioning. He was told that there were a total of 1,284 students studying from class IX to class XII in the school. The school officials said so many students were being taught only by five plus two teachers.
Sarangi directed the school officials to improve the quality of education being imparted to the students. He assured to place the various demands of the school authorities before the state government officials concerned.
During the inspection visit, Sarangi was accompanied by district education officer Alka Jaisawal and BDO Dayanand Prasad Jaisawal.
