JNAC orders replacement of faulty LED bulbs before Diwali

Jamshedpur: The special officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) Sanjay Kumar held a review meeting with the representatives of EESL, the company entrusted with the contract to install and replace LED bulbs on all main roads of Jamshedpur. He directed the officials to ensure proper illumination of all streets under the JNAC. The company representatives Rajeev Ranjan Kumar and Madhukar Kumar said that 4293 LED bulbs had been installed till 6th October.
Kumar complained that the residents of many localities had complained that LED bulbs in their area stopped working soon after installation. He said the faulty bulbs should be immediately replaced with new ones. He said there are a total of 56 high-mast lamp posts in Jamshedpur. These lamps should be kept in proper working order, he said.
