State Government lacks funds for Abua Awas Yojana: Dr. Nishikant Dubey

Deoghar: The Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra made its way to Harkatta village in Mohanpur block, where Godda MP Nishikant Dubey, the chief guest at the dissemination program, addressed the gathering. During his speech, MP Nishikant Dubey asserted that the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program is not introducing any new initiatives, emphasizing that previous governments have also implemented similar programs.

He mentioned the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program, which has been executed by various governments in the past. Dubey expressed scepticism about the effectiveness of the current ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program, where forms are being collected during the program without tangible outcomes.
Particularly critical was Dubey’s commentary on the Abua Awas forms being collected, stating that only a few people would benefit from the scheme as the state government lacks the financial resources to provide Abua Awas to everyone. In contrast, he highlighted that the central government has ample funds for the PM Awas Yojana.

Highlighting the timeline for receiving benefits, Dr. Dubey noted that individuals filling out PM Awas forms may have to wait four to five months to access the scheme’s benefits. In light of this, he urged people to fill out both forms, emphasizing that the first residence to materialize would receive the associated benefits.
