
20 participants undergo training under FIDE International Arbiter
Jamshedpur, July 15: A State-level Chess Arbiter Seminar-cum-Training Programme was inaugurated at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Tuesday. The programme was formally inaugurated by Capt. Manish Sinha in the presence of Jayant Kumar Bhuyan, General Secretary, and Vishal Kumar Minz, Coordinator.
A total of 20 participants, including eight women from different parts of Jharkhand, are attending the two-day training programme. The sessions are being conducted by Prof. Anantharam, Senior International Arbiter and Member of the FIDE Arbiter Commission, who has arrived from Sivakashi, Tamil Nadu, as the resource person.

The training is being organised from 9.30 am to 7 pm and will conclude on July 16. It was stated by Capt. Manish Sinha that the seminar would provide a strong platform for state arbiters and help ensure the smooth conduct of district and state-level chess tournaments.
A warm welcome was extended to Prof. Anantharam by Capt. Manish Sinha, Vishal Kumar Minz and Jayant Kumar Bhuyan. Senior Vice-President of ESDCA, N.K. Tiwary, was also present.
