Tangrain students learn digital literacy skills

Jamshedpur: A training programme on digital literacy was organized at Upgraded Middle School, Tangrain, under Potka block on Friday.

The arts teacher of the school Arvind Tiwary put in endeavour to bring about digital literacy among the students.

Social worker Vijay Singh, Anushka and Internet Sathi Sagori Munda informed children about the usage and functioning of mobile phones and Internet with the help of projectors. Children learnt how to use mobile phone and computer on the occasion.

For students from class I to class III, a clay toy making contest was held. The students of class IV and V participated in a sit and draw competition.

Among others present on the occasion included the Gram Pradhan Mangal Pan, Subol Das, Ujjwal Mandal, Jai Har iSingh Munda, Amal Dikshit, Sanat Mandal, Vishwajeet Sardar, SK Thakur and Vidya Mandal.
