Jamshedpur, May 8: Srinath University’s Department of English celebrated the 163rd Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore on May 8, 2024.
To honor the literary icon of India, Rabindra Jayanti was commemorated with various cultural and literary events organized by the English Department. Students participated in activities such as Rabindra Sangeet, dance, painting, and drama.
The event saw a captivating performance of Tagore’s timeless work Kabuliwala by students of B.A Second Semester. Additionally, students from B.A Fourth Semester presented a mesmerizing group dance on Tagore’s compositions. Megha from B.A Second Semester rendered a timeless Rabindra Sangeet.
Students showcased their artistic talents through exhibitions of paintings and sketches inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s legacy.
The celebration served as a platform for students to express their creativity and pay tribute to the literary genius, Rabindranath Tagore.
