Jamshedpur: Srinath University will be hosting an International Hindi Festival from 20th to 22nd December at its Adityapur campus. The festival aims to highlight the significance of the Hindi language and its impact on various sectors of society. On the first day, the event will focus on the theme “Role of Hindi in Strengthening the Future Life of Youth,” with Prof. Kumud Sharma, Head of the Hindi Department at Delhi University, as the key speaker.
Prominent scholars and linguists such as Dr. Sadanand Shahi, Professor at Banaras Hindu University’s Hindi Department, Dr. Prabhakar Singh, Professor at Kashi Hindu University, Morjum Loyi, Assistant Professor at Bini Yanga Government Women’s College in Arunachal Pradesh, and Jamshedpur’s senior litterateur Brajendra Nath Mishra will also participate in the discussions.
A key session on the first day will address “Hindi Language and Administrative Work: A Powerful Medium of Communication.” Esteemed panellists for this discussion will include Saraikela DC Ravishankar Shukla, East Singhbhum DC Ananya Mittal, and Pakur SP Prabhat Kumar, who will explore the role of Hindi in government communications and administrative functions.
The final day of the festival will feature a lecture on “The Role of Hindi in Delivering Justice to the Common Man,” focusing on the language’s role in legal and judicial proceedings.
