Jamshedpur, April 30: The Jharkhand Voter Awareness Contest was organized across the state. The submissions by contestants were in the segments of short films, reels, music videos, and posters and they showcased the ingenuity of artists from all age groups.
500 posters and 200 reels were submitted for evaluation, underscoring the enthusiasm for the contest. Students from Srinath University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program demonstrated exceptional skill, earning accolades across multiple categories. Saurabh Pramanik secured the second prize in the poster making competition. The team of Soumitra Kumar Mahato, Rituraj, Kashish Mankar, and Lipika Bose clinched the second prize in the wall painting competition.
Adding to their laurels, Srinath University claimed the first prize in the institutional category for reel making. The Chancellor of the University, Sukhdev Mahato, led the university’s success, with both him and the students being honored by the CEO of Jharkhand Election Commission for their contributions to voter awareness.
