Jamshedpur, May 5: The Sreeleathers family commemorated the 101st birth anniversary of Kiranmayee Dey with reverence and gratitude at their Bistupur showroom. Son Shekhar Dey and daughter-in-law Jyotsna Dey led the tribute by lighting lamps and offering flowers in honor and tribute to Kiranmayee Dey.
Shekhar Dey fondly remembered his mother as the driving force behind Sreeleathers, attributing the brand’s success to her unwavering confidence and support. He praised Kiranmayee Dey for her resilience during challenging times, which propelled Sreeleathers to national and international prominence. Reflecting on the family legacy, Shekhar Dey highlighted the continued expansion of Sreeleathers under the leadership of his sons, particularly noting the addition of accessory products alongside shoes. The event was moderated by Meera Sharma.
