Kadma unit of PSZAS observes Agrasen Jayanti with pomp and gaiety

Jamshedpur, Sept: The Kadma branch of Purvi Singhbhum Zila Agrawal Sammelan (PSZAS) today celebrated the birth anniversary of Maharaj Agrasen with pomp and gaiety at a function organized in Lakshmi Narayan Marwari Mandir, Kadma. Competitive events for women included Toran decoration, making image of Guga Bhagwan and for children in the age group of 10 to 12 years, decorating Lord Agrasen�s picture with Ram Naam. The winners were Little Agrawal (1^st), Priya Jindal (2^nd) and Surabhi Agrawal (3^rd) in Toran decoration; Mugdha Agrawal (1^st), Hemlata Agrawal (2^nd) and Lakshmi Bansal (3^rd) in Guga Bhagwan image making; Arpita Chowdhary (1^st), Bani Narayan (2^nd) and Os Poddar (3^rd) in decorating Lord Agrasen�s photo with the words Ram Naam.

The competitions started at 3 pm and the festival was inaugurated at 6 pm by the elite of the community by lighting a lamp before the portrait of Maharaja Agrasen. The guests included PSZAS chairman Dipak Bhalotia, district president Santosh Agrawal, general secretary Rajesh Ringasia, program convener Prabha Padia, former minister Banna Gupta, Nirmal Kabra, Ashok Bhalotia, Umesh Sah, Shankar Mittal, Pawan Agrawal, Omprakash Ringasia, Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Shrawan Debuka and others. The guests urged all community members to spread the thoughts and ideals of Lord Agrasen among the masses as his vision was relevant even today and continue to remain so as long as creation continues to exist.

The Maha Arti of Lord Agrasen was performed at 7:30 pm followed by the distribution of consecrated food. The organizing committee comprised Satyanarayan Agrawal, Ashok Modi, Rajendra Modi, Vimal Gupta, Santosh Agrawal, Mahavir Gupta, Ajay Agrawal, Sanwarmal Agrawal, Arun Gupta, Suman, Rekha Mittal, Sunita Modi, Uma Agrawal, Bablu, Kavita Agrawal, Mahavir Agrawal and others.
