Mahesh Rao of Bhalubasa Community Centre shines on day 1 of Powerlifting, Bench Press and Bodybuilding Championship

Jamshedpur, Sept.: To inculcate a healthy spirit of competitiveness, Urban Services, CSR organizes �Inter Centre Powerlifting, Bench Press and Bodybuilding Championship 2019� on 27th and 28th September� 2019 at Dhatkidih Community Centre, Jamshedpur. Many youths across twelve community centre participated in this tournament which served as a platform to those budding players to prepare for performance at state and national level competition. Above 100 youth participated in this championship.

Nav Kant Jha, Union Committee Member, Tata Workers Union & Area Officer, Urban Services, graced the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest and encouraged the players. Gurbari Hembram, Manager, Urban Services, All Area Officers and Urban Services team were present during the occasion.

In the powerlifting category- Rustam Mandal of Namda Community Centre was the winner in 53 kg event. Niraj Mukhi of Bhalubasa Community Centre won in 59 kg event. Mahesh Rao of Bhalubasa Community Centre won the 66 kg event.

In the Benchpress category Rupesh Kumar Rajak of Sonari Community Centre was first in 53 kg event. Kamal Yadav       of Bhalubasa Community Centre won in the 59 kg event. Mahesh Rao of Bhalubasa Community Centre won in the 66 kg event.

Bodybuilding Competition will be held on tomorrow, 28th September 2019 at Dhatkidih Community Centre, Jamshedpur from 5.00 pm onwards. Winners will be awarded tomorrow.
