Speeding car crashes into tree near Jamshedpur, 3 critical

Jamshedpur, March 11: A high-speed car lost control and rammed into a roadside tree near the main gate of UCIL Bhatin Mines in Jadugora on Wednesday afternoon, leaving four youths injured, three of them critically.
According to reports, the car was travelling from Jadugora towards Jamshedpur when the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle near the Bhatin Mines gate.
The speeding car veered off the road and crashed directly into a tree. The impact of the collision was so severe that the front portion of the vehicle was completely mangled.
Hearing the loud crash, local residents rushed to the spot and rescued the injured youths trapped inside the car. With the help of locals, all four were immediately taken to the Jadugora hospital for treatment.
Doctors, after providing primary medical care, referred three of the seriously injured youths to a hospital in Jamshedpur for advanced treatment, while one youth who sustained minor injuries is being treated locally.
Meanwhile, Jadugora police reached the accident site soon after receiving information about the incident and carried out an inspection.
The damaged car has been taken into custody and an investigation has been initiated.
Preliminary findings suggest that over speeding and loss of control may have caused the accident, though police said a detailed probe is underway.
