Jamshedpur, July 6: SPAND Multispeciality Hospital & Trauma Care has achieved the prestigious NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) Accreditation, marking a significant milestone in its journey towards delivering world-class healthcare services. The accreditation recognizes the hospital’s adherence to stringent national benchmarks in patient safety, clinical excellence, quality management, infection control, and ethical medical practices.
The recognition places SPAND Hospital among a select group of healthcare institutions that have successfully met rigorous standards of quality and patient care, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted multispeciality healthcare provider for Jamshedpur and the adjoining regions.
To commemorate the achievement and further its commitment to preventive healthcare, the hospital will organize a Free Mega Health Camp on July 11 (Second Saturday) at its premises on NH-33, Dimna Pardih Road, Mango.
The camp will offer a comprehensive range of complimentary health screening services, including Random Blood Sugar (RBS), Thyroid Profile (TSH), Body Mass Index (BMI), Neuropathy Screening, Lipid Profile, FibroScan for liver assessment, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), and Blood Pressure and Weight Check.
The initiative is aimed at facilitating early diagnosis and timely intervention for people suffering from or at risk of lifestyle and chronic ailments such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, fatty liver disease, hepatitis, obesity, snoring and sleep-related disorders, and respiratory illnesses.
Hospital authorities said the camp reflects SPAND’s continued focus on promoting preventive healthcare while making quality medical services accessible to the community.
Backed by experienced specialists, advanced diagnostic facilities, and now NABH-certified quality protocols, the hospital aims to encourage people to undergo regular health screenings for early detection of diseases.
Speaking on the occasion, the hospital management said, “NABH accreditation is not merely a certification but a commitment to quality, safety, transparency, and excellence in patient care. Through this free health camp, we are reaffirming our dedication to serving the community with compassionate healthcare and the highest standards of medical excellence.”
