Gamharia, July 10: New police captain of Seraikela district Mukesh Kumar Lunayat made a surprise visit to the Kandra police station on Wednesday. He gathered geographical information of the police station area from the officers and policemen present in the police station.
Superintendent of Police Mukesh Lunayat said that the people of Seraikela-Kharsawan district had to be provided with friendly, responsible, hardworking and quick action policing, so that the hiatus between the general people and police was reduced. He said that his first priority was to make the entire area crime free. Lunayat stated that his priorities were to curb crimes and ensure quick detection and settlement of pending cases.
The SP reviewed crime control, quality investigation, law and order maintenance, prevention of buying and selling of illegal drugs and execution of pending cases/warrants/attachment/proclamation in Kandra police station. He gave necessary directives.
