South Eastern Railway GM visit on Feb 24, stalls in Ghatshila station premises to be removed by Feb 10

Ghatshila, Feb 9: South Eastern Railway General Manager, Archana Joshi, will inspect various stations in Kharagpur Division including Ghatshila, Chakulia, Rakhamines and Jhargram on February 24 and 25. Preparations for cleanliness have already commenced and stations are also being beautified since the past  Prior to the SER GM’s visit, the Divisional Manager has visited these stations on several occasions to ensure that everything was in order and shortcomings removed.

As one of the measures, the Ghatshila station management has directed all shopkeepers to remove their stalls set up on Railway land and within the station premises latest by February 10. The shopkeepers have already started removing their stalls in  keeping with the directives issued to them.
