Jamshedpur Dr. Santosh Gupta appointed IMA Youth state president

Jamshedpur, Feb 9: The state executive meeting of the Indian Medicos Association (Youth) was held in Ranchi. The meeting discussed in detail about the organization scope and connects with young doctors.

During the meeting Dr. Santosh Gupta from Jamshedpur was unanimously elected as the State President of IMA (Youth). Simultaneously, Dr. Ram Naresh Rai also from Jamshedpur was appointed State General Secretary.

The elected officials have been asked to expand the executive body.

Both the doctors thanked all the doctors and said that they will try to complete the work given by the organization. To connect more and more young doctors to this organization, they said that membership campaign will be launched. It was also said that IMA (Youth) executive committee would be constituted in all the districts of Jharkhand.

The doctors said that all the young doctors must work to realize the vision of a completely self-reliant India and keep national interest paramount.

The meeting focused on how people can get the facility of cheap, excellent and modern treatment in the state and what can be the contribution of young doctors.

Young doctors were asked to consider doing group practice on their own or in collaboration with other doctors in the region.

Doctors were also advised to start their own nursing home and diagnostic center which will help provide cheap and excellent treatment facilities to the people in both urban and rural areas.

It was also decided to connect all the medical centers of rural areas with telemedicine facility so that the patients there can get proper consultation of specialist and super specialist young doctors on time to provide timely and better treatment.

Dr. Pushpendra, Dr. Amar, Dr. Pratibha, Dr. Ramesh, Dr. Abhijeet (Ranchi), Dr. Aruna (Khunti), Dr. Shankar Niwas (Ramgarh), Dr. Devashish, Dr. Ravi (Hazaribag), Dr. Manoj, Dr. Ranjit (Koderma), Dr. Sunil, Dr. Subodh (Giridih), Dr. Amit (Chatra), Dr. Akash, Dr. Sunil (Dhanbad), Dr. Birendra, Dr. Amarendra, Dr. Lalan (Bokaro), Dr. Rajesh, Dr. Manish (Deoghar), Dr. Subir, Dr. Manish (Dumka), Dr. Naushad, Dr. Ranjit (Chaibasa), Dr. Sanjay, Dr. Manoj (Saraikela) were present in the meeting.
