Son kills father brutally in Ichagarh

Chandil, Nov. 11: A son brutally killed his father beating him with rod and sticks in Dumra Village under Ichagarh Police Station jurisdiction late on Tuesday night. According to reports, the accused 35-year-old Teju Munda resident of Dumra village in Situ panchayat thrashed his father Raghunath Singh Munda alias Raghun and fled the scene. According to villagers the accused Teju Munda had killed her uncle Shyamchand Singh Munda ten years earlier and was sentenced in the case. Recently he came out of the jail and had been harassing his family. After getting the information, Ichagarh police reached the spot on Wednesday morning and took possession of the dead body kept outside the house. The dead body has been sent for postmortem to Sarakela. According to the police the son has killed his father and ran away from the crime scene and police has also started investigation into the same.
