Jamshedpur: Sixty-year-old Gopal Sand was killed in Bahulia village of Badshol police station area of Bahragora block of East Singhbhum district. The relatives also burnt the dead body in the morning. But the deceased’s son Parvatiya Sand aka Pitu is absconding. Police suspect that Gopal Sunda has been murdered by his son. A blood stained axe has been recovered from the deceased’s house.
At the same time, bruises on the mouth of the deceased’s wife Asha Sand have also been found. When police questioned Asha Sand and daughter-in-law Basanti Sand regarding injuries and axe, they did not give a clear reason. The deceased’s wife and daughter-in-law are trying to hide the truth. The axe has been confiscated. The son will be questioned for custody.
