Gamharia: Social worker Srivas Pal, 71, passed away on Thursday. He was undergoing treatment at Tata Main Hospital. He was a resident of Bada Gamharia Busti. He was cremated today at Parvati Ghat, Bistupur. Hundreds of well-wishers and acquaintances attended the funeral ceremony. Pal is survived by a large joint family. He was ailing for a long time.
