Jamshedpur, August 21: The Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) conducted several street plays or nukkad nataks throughout the city to bring awareness to common man.
The primary aim of the play was to oppose against the Chinese rakhi’s that has flooded the markets. They appealed the people to buy products manufactured in India rather than using foreign products.
The use and buying of foreign goods sends a major portion of the economy overseas. This weakens the Indian money. Not only are the Chinese products are of inferior quality but are also harmful for health & environment.
The group also raised the pledge slogan-‘We would go to the market and buy Indian products. Jai hind! Jai Swadeshi!’ Bandeshankar Singh, Manju Thakur, Sunita Singh, Prabha Singh, Neelam Singh, Archana Singh, Pinky Singh, Sangita Singh, Urmila Thakur, Munni Thakur, Meenakshi, Pramod Chaudhari, Bhola Sonkar, Rajesh Singh, Ashok Singh, Jayant Srivastav, Anjani Singh, Amit Mishra, Dev Kumar, Mithilesh Prasad, Kaushal Kishore, Rakesh Pandey, Surender Singh, Anil Tiwari and Ravi Shankar Mishra were a part of the event.
