Nephew among 3 arrested in Azadnagar Murder case

Jamshedpur, August 21: Police on Friday claim to have cracked the case of murder of 62-year-old woman that took place in Azadnagar Mango on Thursday night.

According to police, the victim Amina Begum was murdered by her nephew Wasim over property dispute.

Wasim committed the felony with the help of his two friends Salman and Rehan.

Amina lived in a joint family at her residence in road no.12, Azadnagar, Mango. After the incident the trio tried to hide the evidences by wiping off the blood stains at the scene.

After firing shot the victim was rushed to the Tata Main Hospital where she succumbed on the way. The police have arrested all three culprits and have charged them under sections 302, 201 and 34 of the IPC.

The police have also collected a local pistol with magazine, an empty 7mm bullet shell and few blood stained furnitures.

Her daughter Sitara Parween on hearing the news rushed home with her husband and when the news was disclosed to her she fainted on the spot.

The team of Amit Kumar of Patamda PS, Kamleshwar Pandey of Mango PS, Satyendra Prasad of Pardih PS, Uttam Tiwary of Azadnagar PS and Francis Xavier Bara of Ulidih PS with their efforts subjugated the case.
