Jamshedpur: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal has transferred six police station in charges (SHOs) in Jamshedpur. The transfer involves sub-inspectors in charge of police stations, with several inspector-level SHOs expected to be transferred soon. The current transfers include Ravi Honhaga, the former POTA police station head, who was removed following allegations of harassing a woman. Manoj Murmu, a sub-inspector at Mango police station, has been appointed as the new POTA SHO.
Other changes include Rajeev Kumar Hongpe as the new SHO for Gudabandha, replacing Sunny Toppo, who has been moved to Golmuri police lines. Ishwar Dayal Munda, the previous SHO for Bahragora, has been line-attached and Shankar Kushwaha has been appointed the new SHO. Amit Kumar will take over as the new SHO of Govindpur, replacing Ashok Kumar, who has been assigned to Kamalpur. Sunil Kumar Bhokta, previously serving at Burmamines police station, has been appointed as the new SHO of Shyamsundarpur.
