Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur West felicitated six Government School teachers with Nation Builder Award at a ceremony held in Bengal Club, Sakchi on Saturday.
Chief Guest for the occasion Aruna Taneja felicitated the teachers. While addressing the gathering, Taneja said, in reality teachers play a vital role in nation building. In school teachers play the role of a mother for the children. The award winners are a source of inspiration for other teachers. She also informed about the Rotary India Literacy Mission under which the awards the presented to the teachers.
Club secretary Nibha Mishra informed the gathering about the self defense for girl students and upcoming eye and dental checkup camp. Earlier, Club President Amita Sinha welcomed all.
Club members present on the occasion were Nikunj, Purabi, Sheetal, Punam Jha, Setubandha, Madhumita, Aparna, Poonam Khemka,Kamla,Jyoti, Mousami Rai along with school principal.
